Private Membership Association, or PMA, is a legal entity in good standing that functions in the private domain (outside the public domain). This means that it exists not for the purpose of optimizing profit, but for the purpose of supporting a community (membership) around core values and interests. Other examples of PMA's you may be familiar with are: NAACP, Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts of America, The BAR Association, The American Medical Association & many more.
A “PMA” is an organizational structure that guards the rights of its members to intuitively decide what’s best for their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. It also offers protection for clients and providers, by ensuring that all participants agree to core values and ethical conduct as a condition of membership.

Feedback from a recipient of donor gifts to SOAAR Global that we pass directly along to survivors:
"Please convey my gratitude to Soaar’s donors for the gifts, they will go toward a much needed eye exam and updated glasses! I am doing better, the place I am living has made it possible to sleep well and feel safe—-it’s also sunny and surrounded by an oak forest! Your donor generosity has made it possible for me to move forward on additional self care and tasks to restart my professional work.”
